Four bike movies

The quality is low in this format, online. However, I think the idea should be clear.

This first one was selected by the woman who runs the whole Filmed By Bike festival. I think it is a funny idea, but after working on it for days, seeing 60 plus times, I had to wonder if it was that good. However, at the showing it was well received and a highlight for many.

This was a video that I shot, 25 seconds where the company would add a closing note of 5 seconds. The premise it to think of ways, simple, common, everyone can do them ways. This video was not selected. Lame. It had cash prizes.

A fun one to watch how Kael plays while we ride.

And then a delightful group of people make the commute to work video for the MLC students, lead by Anglea.

Soren's 6th Birthday

(February 28, 2009) If you have received numerous updates from me lately, that is because I am playing catch-up. I have been super involved with a few video projects and work. In doing this, we celebrated Soren's birthday, but I forgot to make it public. Sorry Soren. Start saving up for the therapy sessions.

Recap, Soren and his school chum, Indigo, had a joint birthday party as they share the same day. Indigo likes Batman and Soren likes Robin (not the useless side kick of yesteryear, but the new, strong leader of the Teen Titans series). It was a superhero/supervillian party. Everyone from the kindergarten class was invited. It was super chaos. Loved it.

Tana went as SuperNurse and I went as a mad scientist ala Doc Octish. The cakes were made by Tana and are quite super. En lieu of presents, the boys collected food donation for the Oregon food bank to help fight hunger.

By the way, Soren is riding his bike without training wheels and is totally stoked.
